Bands 112 and 113 are a Reality

3gpp sets the worldwide standards for the 5G protocol. Unless a “band” is listed in the standards, it simply does not exist.

In December, 2024, 3gpp officially published the standard for “Bands 112 aand 113.” In short, Bands 112 (470-608 mHZ) and 113 (606-698 mHZ) are receive only (Broadcast). Band 112 are UHF channels in the US and India while Band 113 is Europe plus most other countries.

The details can be found here: 3gpp BAND 108 and go to version 18.3.0
