XGN Global Debuts “Arthur” 5G Broadcast Softwareat IBC 2026, Booth 1.F37

Amsterdam, Netherlands – August 23, 2026

XGN Global today announced the public debut of Arthur, its advanced 5G Broadcast software platform, at IBC 2026 (September 11–14) in Amsterdam. Visitors can experience live demonstrations of Arthur at Booth 1.F37 in Hall 1 of the RAI Amsterdam.

Arthur is a comprehensive software solution designed to power the full 5G Broadcast workflow—from content ingestion and orchestration to modulation control, middleware, and seamless hybrid broadcast/unicast delivery. Built for broadcasters, network operators, and public-safety organizations, Arthur enables efficient one-to-many delivery of live video, radio, emergency alerts, data services, and first-responder communications over traditional television broadcast spectrum using 3GPP 5G Broadcast standards (including FeMBMS and later releases).

Key capabilities of Arthur include:

•   Real-time content ingestion, scheduling, and orchestration optimized for broadcast efficiency

•   Support for hybrid delivery with intelligent switching between 5G Broadcast and unicast/OTT paths

•   Integration with exciters, transmitters, and receiver ecosystems (smartphones, CPEs, and SDRs)

•   Tools for emergency alerting, encrypted first-responder communications, and ancillary data services

•   Scalable architecture suitable for both single-station deployments and multi-station Single Frequency Network (SFN) environments

XGN Global is currently field-testing 5G Broadcast solutions on WCRN in Boston, a 24/7 5G Broadcast station operating under an experimental permit from the FCC. These real-world tests continue to validate and refine the company’s end-to-end technology stack, including the capabilities now available in Arthur.

“Arthur represents the software backbone that makes practical, commercial-scale 5G Broadcast a reality,” said Frank “SuperFrank” Copsidas, CEO of XGN Global. “At IBC we will show how Arthur turns existing broadcast infrastructure into a high-efficiency, direct-to-mobile platform that works independently of cellular networks—delivering content, alerts, and critical information reliably even when cellular systems are congested or unavailable. Our ongoing field testing on WCRN in Boston gives us invaluable operational insight that is directly shaping Arthur’s capabilities.”

XGN Global has been a pioneer in 5G Broadcast, advancing experimental deployments, receiver solutions, and public-safety use cases. Arthur builds on this foundation to give broadcasters and technology partners a production-ready software platform for the accelerating global rollout of 5G Broadcast services.

Demonstrations of Arthur, along with related 5G Broadcast hardware and end-to-end solutions, will be available throughout IBC 2026 at Booth 1.F37. Industry professionals are invited to schedule meetings in advance via the XGN Global website.
